泉大津駅高架工事は、 南海本線の「松ノ浜駅」から「泉大津駅」付近の約2.4ｋｍを高架化し、途中8箇所の踏切を除却、都市内交通の円滑化を図り分 断され た市街地の一体化により都市の活性化を図る事業です。2009年6月7日に泉大津駅の難波方面ホームが高架化され、下り線は2012年8月4日から高架に切り替わりました。前回は駅前広場〜改札外コンコースまでをご紹介しましたが、今回は改札口からホームの様子をご紹介したいと思います。

改札口付近にある発車標の様子です。LCD方式で南海電鉄が採用しているCIデザインに準拠したテイストの表示内容となっています。
改札内コンコースの様子です。天井の銀色のアクセントは毛布のまち泉大津市にちなんで「ニット」をモチーフにしているのでしょうか？
